MBA graduate leads international corporation

MBA graduate Daniel Malt

A 1993 MBA graduate is reaching new heights in his career.  Daniel Malt is the CEO of Plaut Switzerland in Zurich.  Plaut is an international management and IT consulting business.

A native of Austria, Malt earned an MBA from SIU College of Business in 1993.  “The College of business created the positive atmosphere an international student needs when far from home,” said Malt.  “There was assistance on campus and lots of events outside of campus.”

Specifically, Malt says he learned a great deal doing case studies of southern Illinois companies, for his CoBA classes.  “They were great stepping stones and I was able to gain experience and network with the international crowd, professors and students,” he said.
